Review: Sophie’s Café - Casual dining at its best

If you’re looking for a great place to eat with a fresh home-styled atmosphere, then Sophie’s Café is sure to satisfy.  Sophie’s Café offers a “welcome home” feel with a comfortable dining experience, enticing menu, and enough coffee to give anyone the energy boost needed to make it through the rest of their day.

When entering Sophie’s Café the pristine state of the restaurant is quite welcoming.  The sight of muffins, cupcakes, cookies, and many other types of mouth-watering pastries fresh out of the oven rests on top of a clean countertop, where the staff takes orders with a smile.

The lounge features plenty of space for anyone to enjoy their coffee and a large television for entertainment while relaxing.  The area is kept very clean, which can be difficult to maintain when a café offers a lounge area but Sophie’s keeps it near sparkling.

If you’re looking for something “Just like mom used to make,” Sophie’s popular food item “Smokin’ Mac” is a new twist on the classic macaroni and cheese dish featuring the cheesy noodles but alongside a tender barbeque brisket.  The brisket itself could be a menu item alone as it is coated in a tangy barbeque sauce with smoky flavorings and is both tender and juicy. 

Macaroni and cheese may be a kid’s favorite, but the “Smokin’ Mac” is just as good for adults too, so feel free to satisfy that cheese craving.

The salads at Sophie’s aim to please just as well as the rest of the menu.  The “Southwest Salad” features a hearty helping of tasty vegetables alongside a spicier grilled chicken and fresh guacamole that can turn any crummy day more pleasant.

At the end of the day, you can come to Sophie’s to relax with a freshly baked muffin and a hot cup of coffee.  Health and safety is any restaurant’s priority, but delicious food paired with a safe and clean environment makes Sophie’s Café especially inviting.
